Okay, killing pain on one side, same side every time, sometimes nasal congestion during an attack, wants to hit head on something to stop pain, lasts from 15 min. to about 45min. possibly 4 or 5 times a day. Sound like cluster headaches? It did to Dr. Ninan Mathews. He is one of the top headache specialist in the country. Did you know that there are lots of people that have also been helped or even cured by diflucan? Look up the antifungal medication(yes I did some research before putting my two year old son on it)in the post archives on this very web site. Someone named Jim Carney started it all and many have been helped. There is a connection between my sons clusters and his weakend immune system. I believe he had a yeast infestation, and since I didn't know in the beginning what the hell was going on, I put my baby on antibiotics... the headaches got to, according to the pain scale;what were tens. Don't antibiotics kill all bacteria including the good? My son was then admited to the hospital because his headaches were as much as 8 in one day. He was given motrin and indocine multiple times every day. I finally had to look to what was the cause and the only people I could find interested were the allergist(who actually helped me get the diflucan)and a chropracter who didn't even want to adjust him(he only was interested in helping. I think if some of you look in the posts you might find even more detailed info. on what the connection might be. Now, I know you still think there is no way a two year old can have clusters... I say why not... the signs are the same as yours, are they not? Two MRI's a CAT scan, spinal tap and countless amounts of blood tests found only the same thing that, I'm sure all your test found... not a ******* thing. My son has been in this hell for too long for anyone to tell me that it's not possible. All I want to do is give someone else help. Shelly
