Hate to hear about your diagnoses Clint, I am 44 and have had the boogers since around thirty. As far as coping goes I guess that all depends on the frequincy and duration of your headaches but in my experiance I have to get away from people, noise, light etc. Like in my bedroom, door shut so no one can here me fighting off the pain. As far as your practice, well when all this started for me I was #1 salesman for a fortune 500 company, now I am lucky to have a clerical position. People begin to look at you as week and unreliable, therefore you are excluded from the in crowd. You being self employeed wont have to deal with the same situation as I did but you can not hide the fact that sometimes you are just not available. I tried my best to get people to understand but very few ever did. Sorry for such a long dark post but you asked! Good luck and look into Imitrex Injections, works for a lot of us most of the time but has it's side effects.
