They (and only they) have the cure, or often secret cure, for what ails one.
They are far away and it always takes considerable amounts of money to obtain this marvel.
They almost always state they are not medical men but are allied with others who are.
They have nothing good to say about other forms of treatment.
They are dumbfounded at the ignorance of simple folk....in this case we at OUCH and CH.com.
They are very hard to get rid of......
Still, they are amusing and I recommend a visit to CSICOP.com for information on cranks and quack medicine. It's also very funny and I recommend reading articles my Martin Gardner.
