At first, I thought your fathers treatment could be something worthwhile to look at closer. But why then does he use a salesman who's medical knowledge corresponds to the average reader of the health column of a fashion magazine?
We well seasoned Clusterheads have acquired some medical knowledge, and so it's hard for us to believe someone who does not know the difference between veins and arteries.
Your statement, that the arteries in the head come in pairs, and so it's easy to do away with one, would be worthy of a used car salesman.
In your post about rebound headaches you are disseminating downright misinformation. True, long time (over-) use of analgesics can cause rebounds. But Imitrex does operate in a completely different way than pain killers, it does not affect the pain pathway directly. Your explanation is plain bullshit.
Ask your father to supply us with some relevant medical information and stop spreading half cooked 'knowledge'.
