I was always under the impression CH and migraines were the same. If I'm wrong, I'm sorry. I'm not dense. Here are my symptoms. YOU tell me. They can start in different ways. Mostly I wake up with a real bad head ache. Sick to my stomach and vomiting, numbness on my left side all the way down, an aura, I talk backwards. I cannot walk because my balance is gone, light,noise and any movement hurt exstremely bad. Mostly no pain meds help at all. Sometimes I get lucky. I'm not the competitive type or absessed or possesive of my condition. Like you bennie. I have a great deal of sympathy for anyone with any kind of pain. I resent the fact that if I JUST have migrains, that the pain cannot be unbearable, because It can be. I have been on many meds. Several at one time. I have currently started buspar for depression and severe anxiety attacks. Serzone, Depacote, I'm alergic to Imitrex. I'v tried going with the herb method with a little relief for a short period of time. Some meds have worked for a short period of time and then quit. I'm looking in my meds journal and I count 33 meds that I'v been in the last 16 years.Not counting the pain meds.
