You're right about the artery.

In a migraine its one of the smaller viens.

The fact is that this artery can be severed with no repercussion or effect to your body or your face. The procedure is carried out for other medical purposes. However to cut the artery, or tie it off is a difficult surgical procedure because it lies deep inside(unlike the veins that cause migraine).

To block the vein off is not difficult. Like I explained to Bob, its like a car, you have a broken part Riccardo, you dont need that part, your body made arrangements so that it could be blocked without affecting you.

The procedure for blocking the artery is amazing. A tube will be inserted into the main artery that runs through your thigh / groin. At the tip of the tube is an umbrella shaped device that once navigated (don't ask me how) into the correct artery, is released and opens, blocking the artery. The procedure is the same as that used for closing a hole between the walls of the heart without open heart surgery.

Thank you for you beuatiful insightful reply

Hasta
