My son Joshua (age 15) has suffered from migraines for a few years. Over the past weekend he had a migraine that lasted 2 days. Suddently he came to me in distress because his ha had changed. It was one sided. Behind his left eye, like nails were being driven into it, I recognized the dance. It was Mom's turn to be a supporter now. Nothing over the counter would work and I knew it. I took him to ER. They diagnosed him as having a cluster ha on top of a migraine. They gave him compazine for nasea, toradol for pain, and oxygen. The ha went away. I have made an apt for him to see a neuro asap. I hate to think he got this curssed affliction from me. Life sucks! I found out no one under 18 years can have imitrix, zomig, migranol, dhe, etc. do to heart risks. they cant have narcotics either. I hope they will let him have o2. Not sure what else he can have. My husband was going nuts with one clusterhead in the house it will be interesting to see how he does with two. He should be experienced at it by now I would think. LOL
