I think pinky has mentioned pretty much all the inconsistencies. The timeline is the real key too it. What pisses me off most is that:
1) My name was mentioned in the post.
2) The person had email dialogue with me.
3) They used an emptive thread, and it pretty much became a case of the emporers new clothes.
I like to think that this was all done in with the best of intentions - but this is not the kind of help we need!
On the positive side I think it's about time I put all my shroom info in one place. I'll draft the bare bones tomorrow and (if your offers still open Todd) then I'll email it over to you for publication. I can manage a few basic links, but that's about it. Doc Charlie will also provide some info.
One last thing - there have been numerous issues of bullshit on this message board over the 3 years I've been attending. I was sucked into another one that bit again recently. Usually when people start dying i's a good indication of bullshit. Often people will kill of their character and then assume someone else's identity, usually that of a loved one. There are easy ways to spot this. Personnally I just go along with their crap until they get board. Life is too short. This whole Internet thing is like a gifr for these people, but after a while it does get easier to sniff them out. The stars that burn the brightest tend to fade the fastest.
OK I've said my piece. Time to get on with the real work!
