Melatonin is VERY VERY promising
it relates to Seratonin and the hypothalamus involvement in CH that is being revealed by latest research
hypothalamus also is involved with environmental light effect on bodily systems
which may explain the seasonality of CH -
daily rate of change of light period is greatest in spring & fall
only seasonal thing that is constant anywhere on earth (tho it varies from neglible at equater to immense at highest latitudes)- could easily explain why the "allergy" route always turns up a dead end
the research question I keep posting (will do so again in a day or two) addresses one tiny part of the light cycle/hypothalamus/seasonal aspect
have started doing my own info-collection on the seratonin-melatonin realm, hoping to have something to epxeriment with the next time my CH cranks up
look hard at this hypothalamus/seratonin/melatonin aspect folks - it is the MOST promising and LEAST debatable theory so far !!!!!!!!!!!!!
