Prior to being correctly diagnosed with chronic
CH, I ended up at a 'pain management' clinic,
where a anaesthesiologist (sp) decided I had
Occip Neur, and for mega-$, he injected cortis.
and lidocaine in my neck and other 'points'.
Absolute hell for the next 12 hours and no effect
on the CH. Maybe these pain mangagement folks
aren't all quacks, but I sure think mine was.
My neuro said that Occip. neural. would have short
electric-stabbing pains, very unlike a CH attack.
