Does anyone know about the limits for taking Zomig? My Dr. called in a refill for me and my insurance wouldn't cover it. I called the insurance company and they said there is an FDA regulation limiting Zomig to 18 tablets in 30 days. The person I talked to just happens to suffer from CH's too and said to have my Dr. call in a presciption for Imotex spray and it might be approved by the insurance company.I'll find out today. I can't get more Zomig until Jan. 19th.
I have been taking Zomig when the CH's come one right after another and it seems to stop them.I haven't been taking more than 2 a day. Yesterday they started around 5 p.m. and went until about 5 a.m. this morning. I used O2 to relieve the pain but it came back in 20-30 minutes. This went on all night long. I was also concerned about how much O2 I was using over a 12 hour period but I had to relive the pressure. Any info on too much O2?
