Lee has been taking verapamil for a couple of weeks and is seeing improvement. He went two nights without an attack and had a short one early this morning. He has also been taking imitrex (and compazine, sometimes) at the first sign of a CH...pain usually goes away within minutes. Oxygen has been helpful, too. He started the verapamil at 240 mg. and is up to 320 mg. now. His neurologist wants him to stay at this level for now...Lee may have a problem with an interaction with another drug he is taking (blood pressure is elevated). Hope the verapamil works for your husband.
