Mark, this isn't any CH related symptom I've heard of or read about. It is potentially scary, but not necessarily so.
You don't mention any HA related to this. As you know, visual auras are a symptom of migraine and many people suffer both CH and migraine. Perhaps you're having "painless migraines" as a result of the shroom therapy?
There are also several eye problems that could cause this. Cataracts do funny things and glaucoma even more so. The first is completely treatable and the second can be treated very well with early detection.
Finally, there is the scary part. I know where you live and the challenges you face there with medical treatment, but an MRI and EEG would be a good idea, just to rule stuff out.
Definitely see a doc, and keep us informed. We care.
