Tami, a day long, dull headache isn't a cluster. (I'm sure you know this) If you get these after your CH attacks, they are most likely either tension or rebound (from meds).
Since you have stated that you take some serious meds, I'd suspect rebounds first. If getting off the narcs that don't work for CH anyway doesn't help, then look into tension HA.
