Ouch sure has come a long way in a year. It started Dec 10th,1999. I was looking over the budget report today and thought a year ago we had no money. We made $3081.09 in membership fees $290 in donations. Total of $3371.09.
The convention fee and T-shirt sales took care of the convention with $164.69 left over for OUCH total Money for OUCH $3535.70 that is wonderful!
I know lots of people ask what we are going to do with the money. It’s not enough to do anything with right now, that wouldn’t even pay for an advertisement on TV. It’s only been a year. What we need is some ideas as to what we can do in the future. I would so much like to see more on TV like Simon was involved in. We need to write and keep writing letters till they are tired of hearing from us. We need to get serious and print the newsletters out and PUT them everywhere. We need more people to join OUCH and make people see how many clusterheads they are out there in this world we have 126 members not enough to make people stand up and listen to us. Come on people don’t just complain that you hurt and that you are at the end of the rope, grab hold of the OUCH chain its much stronger than rope and can do so much if we all just put our hearts into it as we do with our post and email when supporting each other. We came together because we have clusters, what we going to do the next few years keep posting hoping someone will say WOW look at all those people and the pain they are in less go tell everyone. Its like anything else in life its not going to happen unless we make them see, grab the chain and start the New Year fighting, working JOIN OUCH! Join a committee. Print out the News Letter put it out at Hospitals doctors offices ect… Make a difference in your life and other Clusterheads.
