First, dump the nose thingy (canula) and get a non-rebreathing mask. This is the only way your guy will get 100% O2. While I've never done imitrex, I've been on verap for both CH and high blood pressure for over 6 months and the BP is under control and haven't had a visit from the beast since. Verapamil has few side effects but if you want to check them out, the drug database at onhealth.com is an excellent source. Best of luck to both.
