hello everyone, am new to this site but glad i've come across it. clusters started at 18 am now 32 and they have been gone for 3 yrs and now back in full force.....at night usually an hour after falling asleep...or if i try to take a dang nap..(this has happened during this episode and the last one 3 yrs ago..before that they would be anytime during the day and i could catch them.)yay. the only thing i can do, since i havent gotten into see my wonderful military docs is run for the caffeine and pray it kicks in..this is a filter full of coffee and half a pot of water mind you, oh the stomache aches are awful but will gladly accept them if they take away the CH. yesterday however the coffee didnt work for some reason...i took a nap and woke with it and ran for coffee...the cluster subsided somewhat but was plagued with severe pain in my temple and top of head for rest of the night...which usually doesnt happen. mil docs have no clue and have prescribed migraine meds in the past which dont work....rather than sifting thru all these posts can anyone give me advice on what to take or do..i cant tell ones coming if i am asleep......honestly i have been relying on caffeine.....they usually last 6-8 wks(1-3 times a night for anywhere between 20 minutes to 2 hrs an episode)..........ugh!..thanks for any input, Kim
