Dave, before I started taking verapamil and got a break from the clusters, I was taking about 3 Imitrex per day. I had the same problem with my insurance. Your Dr. can write a letter to the insurance co. and ask them to let you have an increase in the number of Imitrex you can get. Also, my Dr. would give me about 20 free samples whenever I went in and that was a tremendous help. The problem was after taking so much Imitrex my b/p went up really high and I had to stop them.
