in the recent issue of the journal Science there is a report on the whimsically named "I’m not dead yet" gene. Seems that this gene can be changed to double the life span of fruit flies. (Why anyone would want long-lived fruit flies is beyond me). Of course it hasn’t been tested on humans yet but scientists say there is no reason to not think about humans living 150 years. Just think about it. We’ve all heard that we *out grow* CH. Those of you that enjoy your cluster cycles, you could have them for 80 years then only shadows for 40 more and finally out grow them for your 140th birthday.
Ain’t science wonderful! :-)
