One of doctors in the report is my doctor. I'm sure that any costs involved were covered and the testing sponsored by the NHF. Those aren't taxpayers dollars. Those are donated dollars and subscribers dollars. ( as an aside, I would imagine the largest majority being from migrainers ;-)
I haven't been on Depakote for years so I'm sure I wasn't included in *this* study but I have been involved in others.
If you want names of people that have had both chronic (5 years) and episodic clusters ( over 20 years), and have been willing to enter studies and use experimental medications to treat my clusters, my name is Bob Wold and I live near Chicago. I was one of the first to try several of the drugs that are now used to treat clusters. Topamax being one.
