probably assumed my head pain was the "M" variety, although he didn't say that. He was a cardiologist so I cannot blame him too much. I thought my head pain was "vascular" from what my old medical references said, hence this choice of doctor.
He prescribed beta blockers, barbituates,and ergotamine, none of which had the slighest effect on my CH.
Shortly thereafter I saw a neuro who diagnosed
CH by my symptoms without running any tests and back then had no medication to offer.
