The M v. CH threads just below stem, I think, from a post by Paco describing how one knows if they have CH.
I don't see anything in that post attacking or belittling migraineurs.
Each time this subject comes up, it seems as if the migraine sufferers get up in arms, wanting to compare pain levels.
This has nothing to do with pain levels.
It has to do with purpose - specifically the purpose of this site.
This site exists to publicize the tragedy of CH, to provide a forum for the exchange of information about CH and to provide a place of support for sufferers of CH and their supporters.
The web is full of other sites that do the same for migraineurs. There are migraine support groups, research clinics, centers for treatment, etc, etc.
I don't belittle or demean anyone's pain. I couldn't care less if a migraine hurts worse than a CH or vice versa. Heck, I don't care if bursitis hurts worse than CH. It's not about "elite" or "competition" or anything else. It's about finding help for CHr's. That includes the folks who have both CH and migraines. Just realize that his site can't help you with the migraine part - just the CH part.
Obtuse as I may be, I also don't go to a podiatrist when my tooth hurts.
