"I was 2 weeks into this cycle when I took this dose. About 1 gram dried cubensis. About 30 minutes after ingestion I started feeling a ch and was a bit disappointed. I aborted the ch with O2. I didn't feel any uneasiness from the shrooms when they first come on. Everything seemed a bit brighter and I really could not tell if I felt anything at all. Mabey a little bit but felt I should of done more at the time.
Anyway the good news is that it has now been 2 weeks and I have not had any ch's. I keep thinking I feel one coming on but it never happens. I have to admit that I was very skeptical of this but had no problem with trying it out. My cycles have been longer every year by at least a couple months so I don't think that I was already at the end of it. I hope that this will continue and next year I can stop the cycle at the onset.

Pinky mentioned August. My understanding is that August made a very good go of the shrooms without sucess. This may have been down to not enough shrooms, but there was absolutely no positive effect from them. I fear that the shrooms may not be of benefit to August. I guess it's down to whether August feels it's worth another try. I must add that, given the circumstances, August acutally IS one of the bravest people I know. In cases where the shrooms are ineffective, I would consider tryin another related substance such as LSD. We do have positive anecdotal data on LSD, but much less of it than we have for shrooms. I don't know of anyone that's tried mescaline yet.
