What an unspeakably insensitive b*st*rd. I used to see a doc who, when I went to see him because the caffergot suppositories weren't working, asked me if I REALLY wanted to to cured!!! Needless to say I never went back! My advice, find a new doctor. It took me 9 years but the doc I now have is wonderful - no cure yet and every cluster I try different medication but I'll keep trying. I also saw a specialist neurologist who prescribed steriods -took them but made the clusters worse - he reeled off a load of side effects "woman of your age, osteoporosis, blood disorders, etc" and then doubled the dose!!! My own doc was happy for me to discontinue the steroids. I hope you find relief
