I am a 63 year old male with chronic CH. I had to quit my job (which I did not want to do....I was certainly not ready to retire yet) due to the increased frequency and intensity of each attack. I had oxygen next to my desk etc as well as medication on hand. However it got to the point where I was unable to perform effectively. I have attempted to file for disability through Social Security...I am at the first level of appeal as the initial submission was not approved. I have completed about 70 pages of detailed info. Has anyone out there with "chronic" CH ever been succesful in obtaining disability through Social Security......and if so.......would sincerely appreciate any advise you might have.........Many Thanks.........
