Did you inject the jars on the door of your oven with the oven turned on to have the hot air rise and thus carry up as much bacteria and strange organisms as possible? It isn't a lab environment, but it does help.
Which steps did you forget on the two jars?
I assume you are using the PF TEK method from the sounds of it. Where did you secure your spores from? Your own stock or from someone else?
In your climate... if you see *anything* other than what is supposed to be there, toss those jars! I don't want to hear that you are dead because of specimens that were contaminated with deadly toxins in the mycelium stage. That would suck. And trust me.. you'd know before it was over... those tainted specimens would make you sick-sick-sick.
