Yeah, it sounds like you're doing it right and I agree with jonny's advice (no straps) but disagree with BobG about sleeping with it. O2 at this high flow rate can cause lung damage over an extended period of time (check out "Ask DOC Greg" on the left sidebar for more info). I've also come up with a method for chilling O2 which seemed to work for me when ambient temperature O2 wasn't working. Drop me an email if you're interested. Best of luck to you and your hub.
