From what I've read, CPH lasts longer than the ice pick headaches that I get. CPH's can last anywhere from 2 minutes to 15 minutes or so, while my "stabs" only last a few seconds - but can come in alot of series when they are at their worst.
I take indomethacin and, in combination with Neurontin (an anti-seizure med. - although I do NOT have epilepsy)...this is working 99% of the time and the ones I do get are MUCH less severe. Good luck to you!!
