I don't know of a pressure point on the wrist, but I know there is one on the hand between the thumb and first finger, in that webby part. A friend of mine who is an occupational therapist explained the mechanism to me once, but I forgot how it works. It's accupressure, and squeezing the pressure points releases one of the chemicals that fights pain. Maybe you can find some info on the web somewhere on accupressure. Let us know if you find anything.
