Kelly,
My heart goes out to you. I've been an episodic CH sufferer for nearly 20 years and have tried everything mentioned and not mentioned on this board except Diflucan. Imitrex is the only thing that has given me any sort of meaningful relief, It's available in pill, inhalant and self-administered shots. I use the inhalant because of my aversion to shots. It takes 5 to 10 minutes to take effect but it is expensive - about $18.00 per! I've added one tablet of Melatonin before bedtime (over the counter and inexpensive) and I've been able to get a good night sleep. I just learned that Glaxo who manufactures Imitrex has a fairly new version called Amerge. You may want to ask your doctor about it. Any half-ass MD should be willing to prescribe Imitrex for you. Good luck!
