Welcome Carolyn,
I'm just wondering: have you been to a qualified, knowledgeable neurologist who diagnosed the cluster headaches?
I'm not too familiar with the medications you're taking, but the "standard" first line of attack against these things is usually verapamil (Calan), with perhaps a prednisone taper to try to break the cycle. There is also oxygen as a abortive, as well as imitrex. Has you doctor even mentioned any of these fairly standard treatments, which are effective for many (but not all ) of us?
If not, and you're not getting any relief with what you're taking, I would go back to your doctor, armed with as much information as you gather, all of which is available in the archieves right here at CH.com.
Keep us posted. You're at the right place for information, and also support.
Ken
