I would make another appointment and ask the md what is going on. If he doesn't do anything then I would go back or call the new neurologist and ask for his advice and if he could prescibe the meds you need.
I know this is probably a lame excuse, but maybe they were just having a bad day. Guess this doesn't make any sense to me....I really don't think that your doctor of 12 year is just gonna give up on you.
