I am an R.N. for a State facility. I have a supervisor that does not understand or even try to understand clusters. I am being made to alternate shifts despite the fact I was hired for day shift. This is unbearable when I am in a cluster cycle. My Doctor has written 2 letters to her trying to make her understand how messing up my sleep cycle causes my clusters to escalate. She completely ignores the letters and says other nurses have to do this so I have to. I am taking too many Zomig and Imitrex so now my blood pressure and pulse is going up and I am having problems functioning. Can anyone let me know about disability laws as my Doctor has classified this as a disability. It seems like this has become a "control issue" for my supervisor while it is causing me more and more attacks. Please help. Nancy
