This is the first time I have talked with anyone else or heard of other peoples strain with this horrible disorder. I first was stricken with CH about 9 years ago. I have read other peoples accounts on their first attack. It almost brought me to tears because of how similiar their symptoms were with mine. Mine started when there was an outbreak of chix pox at my work. Since I had chix pox before the doctor told me that the lesions around my left eye were some sort of shingle. About a week later, yes that quick, I started to get a haze around my vision from my left eye. From there I started to get this knife like pain through my eye and my temple. It lasted for 2 hours and would subside for 22 hours. This went on for three months like clockwork. The CH are still happening every 3 months like the seasons. they last for 3 months gone for 3 months. I wish i could rip off my left side and mirror my right side. Sorry for going on and on. I am just very happy to find all of you. Good luck
