According to the International Headache Society you are chronic if your attacks continue for more than a year with a maximum period of remission of a fortnight. If your remission is without medication then you qualify.
You won't know when they're going to end until they do, though some episodics notice changes towards the end of a bout. Also you may get the odd attack after a bout appears to have finished.
Just pray they do end - seven weeks is about right for the cycle to close. Good luck
