I just started a cycle after 5 years and the pain was unbelieveable. I tried the suggestion of ice
since nothing else ever worked. At first I put a bag of it right on the spot (right temple) but it worked
when I put it on my neck same side and kept it there until it froze the damn thing away. See if it works.
Maybe it's a freak thing but it worked twice for me.
