Hey, you guys are right about the valproic acid running your liver and you do need check ups if you are on it. It is called Depakote. Sansert requires a yearly check up in the form of a catscan in the kidney area. I have had both and been on both.This years drug of choice for me is lithium and I just had a blood test for thyroid related problems and electrolyte dis function. My Dr must be good he checks me for all the side effects and has had me read over the side effect lists on my own to make a decision. After the catscan and the die shooting into my body looking for irreversable bad kidneys no more sansert for me ever (even though it works)
