I've had the bastards for around 20 years on and off. My last cycle (December to March) was the longest in my life, and more nocturnal, though not totally, than usual.
There was a time when my system was getting use to the drugs that I would get lulled into thinking they were gone, then wham!! after a 10 day break I'd get slammed by a major one.
Are you able to tell what time of day yours are going to strike? For about a month I knew I would get one at 3:00 PM every day. My boss thought he was going to have to take me to the emergency room the first time he saw me with a major one. It really opened his eyes to the nature of these things.
I think we all have wierd things happen with CH. Someday someone famous or rich enough to grab attention will be diagnosed, then someone will figure it all out.
