..at the laundry room in my (anthill) apartment complex they have a bulletin board. On that board today is a whole line,12, I counted them, of baby pictures. The wallat size kind. The same baby. Over and over in that same cute "baby" pose...all those bald urchins look alike...cept to their mom.
I imagine Mom didn't have anyone who knew her and her "miracle" to give them to....so she put them there...in the laudramamat ... free for the taking....in retrospect...I shoulda takin one...if for no other reason...to let Mom know someone cared....that she was "not alone" in her joy.
of all the phrases most often heard here at CHMB and the guest book and I'm sure Elaine"s and Simon"s and other Clusterheadache sites on the web..."I'm not alone" has gotta top the list.
"not alone" in their pain. I never cease to be amazed by the power of that....
If Drummer were alive... I think he'd like that Laudramamat story.
I'm sure he would have taken one of the pictures.
