I smoked very heavily in 1969 when they started but I quit cold in 1980. Unfortunately, the CH didn't let up for another 11 years. They seemed to have tapered off and I'm very lucky so far. Maybe it's my age (54) I really can't say. What I always tell people about quitting is that the best thing about it is you don't have to lie to the MDs and of course it's no fun driving 22 miles to buy tobacco on the Indian reservation as many of my wheezy friends do. . .Sorry, I got carried away.
