My neuro started me a week ago on verapimil, 1/2 of a 240 mg tablet just to make sure there were no problems. I saw him this morning and he upped me to a full 240 mg per day. I am encouraged by the success that many have had with it and hope it helps me as well. So far there has been no appreciable change in duration or severity of the headaches, but I'm hoping that will change now that I'm up to a full tablet.
