I had foot surgery Oct.99. Long term injury resulted in problems with my foot. The podiatrist rec. removal of middle nerve located in my foot. Within a month after the surgery, I began having these strange headaches (pressure to the front part of the brain). They seem to intensify when I lie down. I think that there is a link to my adopting these "headaches" and the fact he removed the nerve. Also, I now have numbness in my foot--- yes the area where the nerve was. In my view, surgery was a big mistake. I was much better off than now. And supposedly this was a "damaged" nerve. I would tell your husband to avoid surgery at all costs, seek other remedys. I'd be interested in hearing more. Email anytime.
