Those of you who have been following my posts will be aware of my current situation. To summarise:
I underdosed on shrooms, and as a result I am experiencing some sort of episode. Mainly the peak of the episode, without any foreplay :)
Things have been a lot better this week, but it is by no means over. The sorest it has gotten this week is 7, and I only had 3 headaches today, 2 of them below kip 6 that I was able to sleep through.
I finally got the go ahead to take my Lamisil prescription for Candida. The doc wanted to do a test on my liver function first because there was a yellowish tinge around the visible edges of my eyeball (if you know what I mean). It is important to ensure that your liver is functioning properly before starting Lamasil, and also at 30 day intervals during the treatment. There was a small posibility that some of my symptoms could relate to a rare problem whereby the body is stores up iron in it's internal organs. One person in 7 carries the gene for this, and 1 in 25 of those 1 in 7 have the disease. It's pretty nasty. My liver function was OK, so fuck knows why my eyes are yellow (howl). Anyhow I took the first Lamisil tab today, and felt rather unpleasent within 60 mins. I guess that means it's working. This is meant to happen, it's caused by the yeast dying off. I guess I'll have to get used to it, since I could be on these for up to 6 months.
The interesting thing is whether my cycle continues to run it's course, or comes to an abrupt halt. There is no doubt Ihave a candida problem, and no doubt that it preceeded my headaches. The question is whether is causes them.
The results won't be conclusive for another 6 months. That's when I'm due my next cycle. This time I won't take any shroom prevention and see if the cycles comes. If I miss my next 2 cycles, and don't take any shrooms then I think we have a result. I'll keep you all posted.
