As Ken stated, we need to take a active role in knowing exactly what pills we are putting into out bodies. You can't always count on the Docs to inform us, And im sure you have seen the 60 Minutes and other News stories about Pharmacies making prescription errors. At times with fatal results. There are many Rx websites out there that tell you all the info on just about any drug. My Doc gave me Verelan PM (Verapamil) and said the only side effect was constipation. After researching it, I found out that greatfruit juice should not be cimbined with Verapamil. Drastically lowers your BP or something like that. I love greatfruit juice, and definately would have combined the two, if I had not informed myself.
It is your body and your responsibility to know what is going into it.
