Dr. Lawrence Robbins, a neuro in Chicago (actually Northbrook) is probably running the largest trial of Botox injections for cluster and migraine treatment. He has related to me positive results with other patients and I personally have had no headaches since my first Botox injections about 1.5 weeks ago (usually they are given all at once, but he only had enough to give me a little on my first visit and the rest several days later). Perhaps the Botox has served to knock the threshold down to a level that my preventative medications (topomax and verapamil) can handle. I also have been working very hard to keep my right sinus' open. I feel a real throbbing there and have some bloody drainage that makes me think there may be a trigger there. I went to an ENY yesterday and he sent me in for a sinus CT last night. I wish you well.
