Uh-oh, VW....I hope I don't ever get caught in one of your speed traps while you're getting a cluster!!!! Seriously though, I'd like to take your question regarding the adrenaline one step further to ask if the adrenaline rush also causes the serontonin level to rise? If so, that could explain the reduction of pain. Unfortunatly I sit in front of a computer taking in ten phone lines of emergency calls, so it's kind of hard to get up and get "physical" during an attack. (I have a feeling I may be losing another job to these demons, also.) I do know that when I get them at home, the only thing I can do (because I absolutely CAN NOT sit still) is go out into the backyard and run around in circles until the attack subsides. But the physical exertion seems to only get me through the cluster attacks, and not abort them. All my best to you, and by the way; I hear that letting speeders go with a warning can do miracles for a cluster attack!!
