I went out today and got several dietry suppliments. Well nine of them. I believe in the Patton principle: use overwhelming force to crush the opponent. My yeast isn't going to know what hit it!
I have a healthy diet already, and that was part of the problem. What's good for people is also good for yeast - with the exception of olive oil and garlic.
It breaks my heart to give up fruit juice and cut back on pasta. Although I am glad to have an excuse not to drink anymore - I needed a break, but peer pressure...

This may seem like overkill. It's going to cost £150 ($225) per month to keep this up. However I must have spent thousands treating the symptoms over the last 15 years, so I see this as an investment in curing me once and for all.
The Lasimil is more advanced than diflucan, in that it actually kills candida, in addition to making life difficult for it. Everything I have read, suggest that in serious cases (for instance if you fail the spit test), both oral antifungal tablets, AND a special diet are required to redress the balance. The important thing is to continue the treatment until the problem is well and truely fixed, otherwise the yeast may adapt and become resistant to the treatment. Hence why I'm hitting this with every available weapon.
