First, let me say that you have every right to your own opinions! I am not writing this to change your opinion - just give my perspective.
My first post after doing the shroom treatment was entitled "Flash and others - you saved my life!" I was not exaggerating or being cute. If I had not come to this message board and read Flash's post - I would be dead - D-E-A-D with a bullet hole in my temple, blood on the wall - dead! I AM NOT a casual drug user, I don't drink or smoke, I am a strick vegetarian, and avid runner, and overly-health conscience person overall. When I decided to give this treatment a try, I was hanging on by a thread to my will to live. After going through all of the posts here, I read everything I could find on the subject, talked to anyone I could, and thought long and hard about the possible chances I was taking. I had exhaused every other possibility, including the array of preventitive and abortive meds available to us. My doctor was even at a loss as to what to try next.
When I drank that tea, and all feelings of pain STOPPED, what can I say - I found life again. It will be 4 months on Thursday of this week since I became Cluster-free. This is all the proof I need. It makes me very sad that some people are so quick to judge and condemn. To me, it's better then not being here at all. If it's not your 'cup of tea' so to speak, please don't bash those of us who have found relief. You have valid reasons for NOT doing it this way, but I have my valid reasons too. Everyone is entitled to do what is best FOR THEM.
