*Head Games*
~Touch of my fingerprints pressing in,
feeling the shape of my hardened skull...
push my skin molding it like putty,
and push back the other way, over the crater
in my temple...
my eyes squeeze tight, crushing the pain with
the lids,
as the nerves send a pulsating shock, with
daggers in the cracks of my head,
reaching for something to hold,
yet can't raise magnetized arms...
for they are stiff, and strong like a clamp,
a crocodile's jaws locked down in a snap...~

*Step Outside*
~The moonlit forest falls before my eyes,
Still, cold & warm,
Mysteriously shaking me from the inside out,
I feel myself lift off the ground,
Frozen for a moment, not wanting to face the fall,
As I float here,
Chills run through my veins,
But only to escape out my fingertips.~
