Hi! Just wanted to throw out some info in case it could help anyone. For 14 years I had a severely deviated septum, polyps completely filling all my sinuses, and a sinus infection(yes, for the entire 14 years!). Didn't know that, of course, because the docs looked at me like I was nuts, patted me on my head and sent me on my way! They didn't believe what severe pain I was in..thought I was exaggerating the nuissances of general allergies...although my allergy test came up with nothing. Go figure... I was diagnosed with some big word that basically meant "I DUNNO"!! lol So I've come across a few websites on cluster headaches in my search for relief and it looks like some of the symtoms I had were very similar: being woken up in the middle of the night, squeezing my eyes and head, kicking, thrashing, attacks coming on suddenly, pain mostly on one side of the face. I fantasized about putting a bullet right where it hurt the most. I just wanted to say that if there's someone who hasn't had a sinus x-ray and a CT, check it out! Ya never know..I certainly had no idea what was wrong with me and was absolutely desperate...just did whatever this awesome doctor I found told me to do and now I'm sooooo incredibly much better!!! Good luck to all of ya :) -Natalie
